  • THE WAY THE WIND BLOWS

    April 30, 2016 - Oct. 30, 2016

Devonshire’s second annual outdoor exhibition expands on the idea of our open-air gallery. Here you’ll find site-specific works that reflect the natural world in unexpected ways with sculptures that follow your movement, others that appear to have grown out of the soil among the trees, and mural-sized paintings to reframe the view. These come together to offer playful contemplation and bring a sense of creative wonder to our natural surroundings.

  • Another World

    April 18, 2016 - Nov. 30, 2016

In this exhibition we examine how artists are exploring and expanding representations of landscape. Experimenting with installation concepts, combining materials and exploring with arrangements of natural and man-made materials. One current that runs through all the works is the principles of still life - balance, composition, between living and inanimate objects that create a hybrid space of outdoor and inside spaces.
