Jump on the Drake shuttle or talk to the Front Desk about our cruiser bicycles, and
make your way to one of the local beaches, minutes away from the Inn. We’ll pack you
a gourmet brown bag lunch and our neighbourhood vintners will supply the bouteille
de vin (for everyone except the DD!) Make like a birder and spot Herons and Eiders.
You won’t have to look far, a majestic Great Blue Heron regularly fishes in Lane Creek,
spanning the Drake property.

Galleries and artists’ studios are open for the public to peruse works ranging from naturalistic landscapes to the abstract. Visit their studios to admire their work, or join a drawing class should you wish to try your hand or sharpen your skills.
